Our Story
Both Christians and functional nutritional therapy practitioners, Michael and Nicole Rutherford have an innate passion for the Lord, holistic health and helping people nourish their bodies as God intended.
When I (Nicole) met and married Michael, and shortly after being saved by Jesus, I felt a strong calling from the Lord to take on a new role as a stay at home wife and mother to my twin stepsons, Emmett and Noah. Within a year of being married, the Lord blessed us with news of a baby girl.
As a loving father, and entrepreneur with his own functional nutrition practice, Fundamenta Wellness, my husband made it his mission to support my body and our growing baby with nourishing food, herbs and supplements throughout my entire pregnancy.
Together, we recognized the gap in available digestive and herbal products to nourish pregnant women & their babies. Michael developed his own pregnancy-safe bitters for me, and through this process, Fruit of the Womb Herbals was born.

Every single herb we use in our products is certified organic or wildcrafted, and sourced with the utmost care.
Our family realizes the importance of food quality and safety for ourselves, so it’s only natural that we would want this for our herbal teas and tinctures at Fruit of the Womb Herbals. Our partners prides themselves on offering safe and reliable wholesale and bulk herbs that meet the highest industry standards. They are certified for Food Safety Code for Food Manufacturing (SQF Certification) at their warehousing and processing facilities. They also practice allergen management and offer a variety of organic and wildcrafted herbs, spices and teas.
